On November 7, 2007 there was a South bound BE that appeared to have something attached to his legs, although it was hard to see and harder to photograph. 

 

The Eagle was chased by ravens:

 

Sat in a tree for a while, was harassed some more and then took off South:

 

 

You might be able to see something attached to his legs or tail - legs I'm pretty sure.  Probably not a tag.  Maybe food?  Maybe tangled in something?


Nevertheless, the BE continued South over the South Shenandoah Valley:



And thereby got counted.

 

 Which reminds me, earlier this year I saw this Harrier doing leg exercises:



And this Peregrine carrying something or having some sort of disease:
